Big M (ac) Burger
INGREDIENTS:
500G beef mince
Salt and pepper
1 tomato, sliced
Lettuce leaves
4 gherkins, sliced
Burger buns, GF* if needed
BIG M SAUCE:
1/3 cup DF mayonnaise
1 gherkin (around 6 cm long)
1/2 tsp ACV (apple cider vinegar)
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Pinch of pepper
GF* + DF - serves 4-5
METHOD:
Bring your mince out to allow it to come to room temperature.
Meanwhile, add all the sauce ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth. If you want, double to recipe so you have some to use on wraps or sandwiches during the week. Set aside.
Season the mince with salt and pepper and massage it through. Roll into balls, it will make 4-5 large ones.
Flatten the burgers out by applying some baking paper over each pattie, roll it out to around 2 cm thick.
Add the patties to a heated frypan with a good splash of olive oil. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until meat is cooked.
Slice your bread rolls, spread over the sauce and assemble your burgers.
