PB + "J" Oats
GF*, DF, V + RSF - serves 1
Ingredients:
1/2 cup GF oats
3/4 cup almond milk
1 tbsp peanut/nut butter
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup/raw honey (optional)
1 tbsp chia seeds
3 strawberries
Method:
To make porridge place all ingredients except the strawberries into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally for a few minutes.
Turn off the heat and pour into a bowl. I like to add a splash more milk before topping with the strawberries and an extra drizzle of nut butter.
If making overnight oats, simply add the milk, PB, cinnamon, honey into a bowl and whisk to combine.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
Cover and leave in the fridge overnight.
