PB + "J" Oats

GF*, DF, V + RSF - serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup GF oats

  • 3/4 cup almond milk

  • 1 tbsp peanut/nut butter

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp maple syrup/raw honey (optional)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 3 strawberries

Method:

  1. To make porridge place all ingredients except the strawberries into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally for a few minutes.

  2. Turn off the heat and pour into a bowl. I like to add a splash more milk before topping with the strawberries and an extra drizzle of nut butter.

  3. If making overnight oats, simply add the milk, PB, cinnamon, honey into a bowl and whisk to combine.

  4. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.

  5. Cover and leave in the fridge overnight.
