Apple Crumble

DF, V and RSF

Ingredients:

  • 4 large granny smith apples peeled and diced (around 2cm chunks)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup monk fruit sweetener or coconut sugar

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Crumble:

  • 1 1/2 cup quick oats (can use quinoa flakes to make gluten free)

  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of pink salt

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.

  2. In a bowl add your apples, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, coconut sugar and lemon juice and mix together.

  3. Add mixture into a baking dish.

  4. In a seperate bowl add all your crumble ingredients and mix together before sprinkling it over your apple mixture. Press down slightly.

  5. Place in the oven and bake for 30 mins or until top is golden and apples are cooked.
