Turkey Cabbage Rolls

GF, DF AND RSF - serves 4

Ingredients:

  • Suagrloaf cabbage, leaves washed

  • 500g turkey mince

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger

  • 1 large garlic clove grated

  • 1 spring onion diced

  • 1 grated carrot

  • 1 grated zucchini

  • 1 tbsp tamari

  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1/2 cup brown rice

Method:

  1. Pre heat oven for 160 degrees C.

  2. Cook your rice following packet instructions.

  3. Meanwhile, add the garlic, ginger, spring onion, carot, zucchini and the sesame oil to a heated pan and cook for 3-5 mins.

  4. Now add the turkey mince, lemon zest and tamari. Cook until the turkey mince is cooked through, season with salt and pepper.

  5. One cabbage leaf at a time, apply some turkey mixture in the middle and roll, folding and tucking the cabbage under.

  6. Place in an oven proof dish and repeat.

  7. Cook in oven for 20 mins.
