Healthy Choc Crackles

GF, DF, V + RSF - makes 12

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice puffs

  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or brown rice syrup

  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp nut butter

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of sea salt

Method:

  1. Add everything except the rice puffs into a small saucepan on a low heat. Whisk until all ingredients are combined and melted together.

  2. Add the rice puffs into a mixing bowl.

  3. Once the chocolate mixture is done carefully pour it over the rice puffs. Stir to ensure rice puffs are completely covered with the chocolate mixture.

  4. Scoop mixture into muffin moulds using muffin papers if needed.

  5. Place in the freezer to set for 1 hour. I keep mine in the freezer in an airtight contain but you can keep them in the fridge.
